Job Fairs

DMH Consulting Group's Custom Job Fairs are designed to support job seekers, including those in need of second chance employment opportunities. These events feature Ambassadors who provide valuable assistance in interview preparation, refining a 30-second elevator pitch, a Dress for Success segment, and resume guidance. This holistic approach ensures participants are fully prepared to make a strong impression on potential employers.

Career Discovery Day

DMH Consulting’s leadership in major workforce development events is second to none. The Charlotte Career Discovery Day (CCDD), founded and led by DMH Consulting Group's leader, this is the largest one-day workforce development event for youth ages 15-18 in the Charlotte region. In partnership with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, the event draws over 6,000 attendees and features more than 100 businesses.

Comprehensive Exposure to Career Opportunities: The event is a city-wide initiative, held at major venues like the Charlotte Convention Center and the Park Expo, offering participants a wide range of career exploration activities in various industries.

Entrepreneur Cafe

Our Entrepreneur Café adds another unique layer to our program, providing a specialized path for those interested in entrepreneurship. The Entrepreneur Café is designed for participants ages 18-24 who are interested in charting their own path as business owners, recognizing that not everyone is suited for a traditional 9-5 job.

Local Entrepreneur Mentorship: Participants learn directly from local businessmen and women who have successfully built their own businesses, offering real-world insights into entrepreneurship.

Hands-On Learning Opportunities: The program includes live demonstrations, interactive panels, and one-on-one mentoring sessions to guide budding entrepreneurs through the stages of business creation and management.

Inspiration through Success Stories: By showcasing entrepreneurs who have leveraged their unique talents to achieve success, the Entrepreneur Café motivates participants to explore their own potential and possibilities.

Industry Day

Our community partnerships and business relations are a key differentiator that significantly enhances the value of your workforce development program. Partnerships with major businesses such as Duke Energy, Accenture, Bank of America, TIAA, Hope Community Clinic, Atrium Healthcare, and Novant Healthcare provide exclusive access to industry tours. These tours include campus visits, industry panels, and shadowing opportunities, giving participants a real-world understanding of their fields.

See it, Be it Philosophy: The design of Industry Days is driven by the belief that exposure to these environments empowers participants by showing them what’s possible, inspiring them to envision themselves in those roles.
